Yuk Chun Lau has a diverse background in a multitude of industries including computer science, mathematics, astronomy, psychology, natural healing, herbal studies, fashion, fine art and, most recently, real estate investment. She is an astronomy enthusiast and has conducted much independent research on solar systems, the planets and their satellites. Ms. Lau has also taught mathematics, English as a second language, integrated science, special education, fashion design, psychology and nuclear mathematics.

Ms. Lau earned the acclaimed designation of Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and holds a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Los Angeles. She is involved with a variety of charities and social services, including those relating to mental healthcare, care for the elderly and childcare in Hong Kong. She also participates in other philanthropic endeavors. Ms. Lau is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors and the West San Gabriel Association of Realtors. In 2008, she was the recipient of the American Spirit Award. She attributes her success to hard work and her faith in God. In her spare time, Ms. Lau enjoys traveling, reading, swimming and participating in track and field events.
