The two year old Salon has built a loyal following of local Austinites along with visitors from New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
While the client base ranges from students looking for edgy cuts and bold color to busy moms that prefer natural looking highlights, the primary customer base is professional working women. "We see lots of very successful independent business women," says Kris Williams, one of the salon's owners, "along with attorneys, real estate professionals, actresses, models, and pretty much anything else you can imagine. It's a diverse client base and that keeps it interesting."
A former architectural designer, artist and contractor, the salon's other owner Keith Williams designed and helped build the eye popping salon himself, actually strapping on the tool belt and working alongside tradesmen. "It was quite an experience seeing the place change from an empty shell crawling with grimy construction workers to an upscale salon full of beautiful women. One of the things I'm most proud of is the fact that we have done so well in spite of being in a new shopping center where the anchor tenant has yet to open. The salon uses Kerastase exclusively on the back bar and Wella as the primary color line. Retail products include Kerastase, Skinceuticals and Sonya Dakar.
