A's Partner with Leading Children's Entertainment Company

    OAKLAND, CA, April 17, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dreamstar Parties Incorporated, Northern California's leading children's entertainment company, today announced that it has signed a trade agreement with the Oakland Athletics to provide its character entertainment services at the A's Stomper Fun Zone at selected home games throughout the 2009 regular season. The Stomper Fun Zone is the area within the Alameda County Coliseum where young A's fans (children 14 and under) can enjoy interactive games such as Speed Pitch games and co-op rides in addition to appearances by the A's mascot, Stomper. The Athletics donate all proceeds from the Stomper Fun Zone to the local community. In 2008 over $20,000 was donated to charitable organizations throughout the Bay Area.

Dreamstar Parties will be providing its signature character service at the games it appears- a performance from a child favorite character such as a clown, princess, or pirate who will complete 2-3 activities from a wide selection of entertaining activities including balloon twisting, face painting, magic, and story-telling with puppets. Dreamstar has customized special activities for A's games to include balloon twisting with green/gold balloons and face painting featuring the A's mascot stomper and the famous A-letter logo of the Oakland Athletics.

Dreamstar Parties has signed to perform at 18 regular season games and all post season games. Performances in the Stomper Fun Zone will begin 1 hour prior to opening pitch and last approximately 90-120 minutes.
Dreamstar Parties will be performing at many key games this season including the A's celebration of former Athletic and 2009 Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee, Rickey Henderson, on the weekend of August 1st and 2nd.
