YUCCA VALLEY, CA, July 06, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Cindy Miller, MA, Teacher at Yucca Valley High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

A teacher at Yucca Valley High School for 19 years, Ms. Miller specializes in accounting and computer science. She teaches business, personal finance and health studies, and oversees the business and health departments. In addition, she has coached two championship girls' tennis teams and manages the time clock for basketball and football.

Inspired to pursue a career in education by her high school teacher, Ms. Miller received her Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Azusa Pacific University in 2000. She is very pleased to be teaching personal finance and is a member of the California Teachers Association and the California Business Education Association. She feels that it is very important for teenagers to understand personal finance as they go out into the world. Through her diligence and dedication, she has attained the Teacher of the Month Award (2010) and the Insurance Educator of the Year Award from the California Insurance Education Foundation (2000). In the future, she intends to continue working as a teacher and improve the personal finance class.
