Schwartz, President of Forensic Fraud Research, Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in investigative services. Forensic Fraud Research, Inc. became affiliated with the National White-Collar Crime Center in 2003. In 2005, the U.S. Department of Justice requested permission to videotape her presentation, "Psychology of White-Collar Criminals" for use on Justice Television Network.
As a forensic behavioral scientist, she has compiled data for and provided information to the FBI-HIDTA Money-laundering Division in Manhattan, the FBI in Washington, D.C., the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Criminal Investigation Division of the IRS, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the U.S. Postal Inspections Service, the Ohio organized Crime Investigations Commission, the Ohio Attorney General's Office and 19 other state departments in addition to various United States Attorney's Offices. Writing the "Psychological Profile of a Spy" for the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and conducting a pilot program for the nation, "Overcoming Resistance on the Local Level," served to blend her work into the world of intelligence and homeland security.
She received her Ph.D. from the Department of Psychology in Education at the University of Pittsburgh in 1987 where she was awarded the distinction of University Scholar. Among her notable credentials are the Certification in Homeland Security-Level V (highest attainment) from the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security, and Intelligence Analyst Certified by the American Board of Intelligence Analysts. She is a fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners, chairwoman emeritus of the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and serves on numerous national boards including the National Board of Directors of the National First Ladies' Library.
