Karen Burnett Recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for Excellence in Exercise and Fitness

    NORTH BROOKFIELD, MA, February 8, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Karen Burnett, Gymnastics Coach, Instructor and Owner of Twisters Gymnastics, has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in exercise and fitness.

As a gymnastics coach, instructor and owner of Twisters Gymnastics, positions that she has held for 28 years, Ms. Burnett teaches gymnastics classes to boys, girls and toddlers. She also holds strength classes for women in order to provide fitness and exercise at every age of life. As an instructor, she is responsible for planning lessons and educating teachers, as well as coaching competitive teams and teaching tumbling to dancers as well as cheerleaders. Ms. Burnett has worked with gymnastics for 17 years, is the mother of five children, and opened Twisters Gymnastics in 2000. Twisters Gymnastics focuses on teaching students gymnastics while helping them develop good habits and strong minds in a healthy, safe and highly-qualified training facility. She attributes her success to her love for working with children and sharing gymnastics with others. She became involved in her profession because she has done gymnastics for her entire life and she decided to open a business where she could pass her passion and skills to others.

Ms. Burnett has received certifications in numerous fields, including safety, first aid, and CPR. She became a certified group trainer and personal trainer through the International Fitness Association. She is a member of Women in Business, the Better Business Bureau, and The Gymnastics Business Group, and a professional member of Quaboag Valley CDC, Former Gymnasts as Business Leaders, and Entrepreneur Magazine and USA Gymnastics. Ms. Burnett hopes to expand the business in the near future.
