Mia started her career in real estate in Atlanta, Georgia in 1997 after working as an assistant in a commercial real estate firm specializing in market demographic research. With an understanding of economics, housing and business, she took an interest in urban development at the right time and joined The Condo Store where she specialized in condominiums, lofts and luxury high rises.

In 2002, when the economic boom hit Tampa Bay (the city was named one of the "Best Cities for Entrepreneurship" and rated the 3rd "Most Economical City to Conduct Business"), Mia followed the trend and relocated to Tampa where she was able to continue specializing in luxury high rise condominiums and downtown urban development and revitalization. She is a consistent multi-million dollar producer and a member of the Greater Tampa Association of Realtors. She has earned the Professional of the Year award and received the International President's Circle top producer award. Mia studied Illustration, Design, Art History and Architecture at AIU of Atlanta.

Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, Mia grew up as a granddaughter in a large Italian family on her mother's side; the culture of food was a staple in and of itself. As the daughter of a father who was an entrepreneur of a diversity of restaurants, Mia consistently found herself spending a great deal of time at her father's stores. After having a successful career in real estate, she eventually decided to commence a career in the restaurant business and began researching restaurant franchises. This would allow her to continue her real estate career while sharing her passion of the restaurant business. After much research, Mia chose the fast casual franchise called Moe's Southwest Grill "Welcome to Moes!" With over 10 years of success with the brand, she has chosen to now reside in San Diego, California where she hopes to introduce multi-units of the fast casual concept. She is also involved in community strategic planning and fundraising. The professional organizations of which Mia is a member include The Westshore Alliance and Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
